Sterling Silver Textured Heart Necklace

A beautiful sterling silver heart pendant necklace with a light reflective line texture on a delicate sterling silver diamond cut curb chain. The heart pendant measures approximately 15mm and is made by hand to order, uniquely for you.

The necklace is available with a 16”, 18” or 20” length chain.


Packaging:

Your item will be packaged in a May & Mabel branded gift box. Whilst box sizes may vary, the design is always consistent with those shown in the listing photographs. Enclosed in the box will be a dated anti-tarnish paper strip to help maintain your jewellery’s shine. Please refer to my ‘Care’ section for more details on how to look after your sterling silver jewellery.


Care:

When your jewellery arrives with you it will have a beautiful shiny appearance and will include an anti-tarnish paper strip within the box (you may choose to replace the strip every few months, but this is not essential). However, care and sometimes cleaning is required to keep your item sparkling.

925 Sterling Silver is made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper and it can naturally tarnish due to oxidisation. The process of oxidisation may occur quickly if jewellery is exposed to a damp atmosphere, immersed in water or comes into contact with perfumes, lotions or other cosmetics. It is therefore recommended that you never immerse your sterling silver in water or wear it in the shower and try to limit it’s exposure to such cosmetics or chemicals.

The likelihood of tarnish is also reduced if you gently clean items after each use. Simply wipe the piece with a soft cloth and store it in a re-sealable plastic bag or box, ideally with an anti-tarnish strip and in a dry atmosphere.

A sterling silver polishing cloth is a great investment and generally extremely effective at removing tarnish. These can be purchased from a range of jewellers and online sellers.
